Turn weekly Team of the Week releases into predictable profits

Team of the Week (TOTW) is FC Mobile's most reliable weekly cycle. Every week, new Inform cards drop, and with them a wave of market movement that repeats almost identically week after week. Once you understand the TOTW pattern, you can plan your buys and sells around it every single week.

How the TOTW Cycle Works

TOTW cards are released once a week (usually Wednesday) featuring real-world standout performers, boosted to higher ratings. The cycle looks like this:

• Monday–Tuesday: rumors and leaks spread about which players will get Inform cards. Market speculation begins.
• Wednesday (release): new TOTW cards enter packs and the market. Prices of related cards shift fast.
• Wednesday–Friday: TOTW hype peaks. Inform cards and their "fodder" trade at premiums.
• Saturday–Sunday: supply floods in as more players open packs. Prices dip — the best time to buy, not sell.
• Next Monday–Tuesday: the cycle repeats.

Strategy 1: Buy Fodder Before the Drop

TOTW events always need exchange fodder — cards of specific ratings to complete TOTW-related challenges and SBCs. In the 1–2 days before the drop, buy 84–88 rated cards from the leagues likely to feature heavily. When the drop confirms which leagues are included, those cards spike as everyone completes the challenges at once. Sell Wednesday evening into Thursday morning for the best prices.

Strategy 2: Invest in Upgradable Players

Some TOTW releases upgrade existing cards' values indirectly: when a player gets a big Inform, his older base card often rises too, because the Inform proves the player is in form and demand follows. If you follow real football closely, you can spot in-form players before EA does — buy their base cards Monday/Tuesday, sell after the Inform drops.

Strategy 3: The Weekend Snipe Window

Saturday and Sunday TOTW card prices reliably dip as pack supply peaks. This is the best window to snipe Inform cards 20–30% below their Wednesday price. Hold them through the following week: most Inform cards recover fully by mid-week, and special cards with good stats never lose long-term value.

What NOT to Do During TOTW

• Don't buy Inform cards on Wednesday night. That's peak hype — you'll overpay. If you want an Inform for your squad, buy Sunday.
• Don't hold fodder too long. Fodder value dies fast after the event window closes. Sell within 48 hours of the spike.
• Don't ignore the real-world schedule. International breaks, cup weeks, and league byes change which players can perform — and therefore which Inform rumors are credible.
